Mizoram Tourism hosted participants of the North East International Friendship Car Rally on 14th April 2022 at Beraw Tourist Resort. Pu V Lalengmawia, Director, Tourism Department conveyed the need to promote peace, unity and brotherhood amongst the North East States through tourism.

The first North East Inter State Friendship Car Rally 2022 was organized by the International Friendship Car Rally Association.

The event was kicked off on 7th April, 2022 from Arunachal. A total of 21 cars and 52 participants reached Aizawl on 14th April. The objective of the rally is to promote peace, brotherhood, unity & tourism amongst the 8 NE States.
